Hi, My Name Is Anna.
Hi. I'm Anna, and I had a medication abortion in Nebraska in 2023.
I found out I was pregnant when I missed my period, tested very strongly positive on day 28, and my first thought was: "I don't want it." I decided to have a medication abortion because I wasn't intending to become pregnant or deliver & raise a 1st child at 40.
I received my abortion pills from an organization.
From start to finish, the process was easy, effective, and safe. I took the pills at home in my favorite chair, and I felt physically painful, emotionally relieved. What surprised me most was how quickly the pregnancy passed into the toilet.
Because I had access to medication abortion, I was able to stay alive, bc I considered self-deletion, and all of that went away after the abortion. I felt freedom and relief.
I'm sharing my story because abortion is healthcare.
Medication abortion saved my life, health, and I'm thriving happily as a child-free person.
