They are fast-tracking politically motivated “studies” at the FDA, instituting dangerous policies at HHS, and proposing legislation designed to destroy any access to Mifepristone (mife for short rhymes with Jiffy) and Misoprostol (Miso).
Our Silence Has Allowed Them To Control The Narrative Around Abortion, and The Mife Stories Project was created to counter the lies.
Sharing Our Lived Experiences Counters Their Lies
We launched The Mife Stories Project in February 2026 to do just that. It is an active storytelling hub, centering the experiences of abortion patients and seekers. Each story serves as a direct counterpoint to the conspiracy theories being peddled to remove access to these life-saving medications.
Each story is full of all of the humanity and complexities that come with every reproductive decision we make.

Those who legislate our bodies never talk to us, they only talk about us. In fact, it seems they believe they never even have to consider us.
We Are Sick Of Being Ignored, So We Changed That.
We bound 1000 of these stories into a book, headed to Washington, DC- inflated a couch on the Capitol grounds, turned on a camera, and read them aloud. For 24 hours straight- on a livestream.
