Hi, My Name Is T.R.
Hi. I'm T.R., and I had a medication abortion in TEXAS in 2011.
I found out I was pregnant when I went to a clinic for a pregnancy test, and my first thought was: "Oh no."
I decided to have a medication abortion because I was a junior in high school, barely 17.
I received my abortion pills at a clinic.
From start to finish, the process was what I wanted and helped me.
I took the pills at home, in my bed, and I felt awkward but also content. What surprised me most was it wasn't painful.
Because I had access to medication abortion, I was able to finish high school, go to college, and I felt relief, content, and right for me.
I'm sharing my story because no one should be forced into motherhood or pregnancy.
Medication abortion is safer than pregnancy.
