Hi. I'm Haley and I had a medication abortion in Florida in 2026.

I found out I was pregnant when I got very sick and couldn’t keep any of the food I was eating down, and my first thought was, “This can’t be happening right now.” I decided to have a medication abortion because I don’t have a stable income, and I want to be able to finish college and start a career before I start a family.

I received my abortion pills through an organization.

From start to finish, the process was anxiety inducing. I took the pills at home, and I felt nervous but I knew I had to do this. What surprised me most was how fast it was, I was able to sleep through most of it.

Because I had access to medication abortion, I was able to maintain control over my own life. I felt relieved.

I’m sharing my story because there are a lot of women who have my same story, and we deserve the right to choose.
