Hi. I'm Jane and I had a medication abortion in Wisconsin in 2022.

I found out I was pregnant when I kept bleeding, and my first thought was, "What’s going on?” I decided to have a medication abortion because I needed it because I was in my 50s and it wasn’t viable.

I received my abortion pills through a clinic.

From start to finish, the process was easy. I took the pills at home, and I felt fine. What surprised me most was I felt a little tired but was probably nervous.

Because I had access to medication abortion, I was able to get an IUD and be healthy as I aged. I felt better because I was protected.
