Hi. I'm Zoe, and I had a medication abortion in Nebraska in 2025.

I found out I was pregnant when my already irregular period hadn’t come for several weeks, and my first thought was "I already know I’m having an abortion." I decided to have a medication abortion because I wanted to go through this process in the comfort of my own home

I received my abortion pills from an organization by mail.

From start to finish, the process was liberating and simple. I took the pills at home on my couch, and I felt relieved that I wouldn’t be pregnant anymore. What surprised me most was the timeline of the process.

Because I had access to medication abortion, I was able to take control of my life’s direction. I felt happy.
