Hi. I'm Dannut and I had a medication abortion in Michigan in 2012.

I found out I was pregnant when I missed my period, and my first thought was, "Nooooooooo.” I decided to have a medication abortion because I didn’t want to be a mother at that time.

I received my abortion pills through a telehealth clinic.

From start to finish, the process was a lot but manageable. I took the pills at home, and I felt emotionally exhausted. What surprised me most was it was not much pain.

Because I had access to medication abortion, I was able to continue with college and now I have my MBA. I felt happy I had the choice.

I'm sharing my story because I want to help.
