Hi. I'm Jane and I had a medication abortion in Florida in 2000.

I found out I was pregnant when I missed my period, and my first thought was, "FUCK!!!” I decided to have a medication abortion because it was very early in the pregnancy and I wasn’t in a relationship with the guy.

I received my abortion pills through a clinic.

From start to finish, the process was easy as pie. I took the pills at home, and I felt relief. What surprised me most was how fast, easy, and non-painful it was.

Because I had access to medication abortion, I was able to go back to my regular routine. I felt FREE AND THANKFUL.

I'm sharing my story because women’s healthcare is medical care.
